Does “Bluetec” mean it’s a diesel?

Yup, because the diesel additive is marketed as ADBlue.

AdBlue? Isn’t he one of the Beastie Boys?

I didn’t know Hamilton was around here.

I’ve never seen so many interesting vanity plates in one day. Also saw a BMW with “royalty” today. Wish I was making this up....
But it wasn’t all bad.

I assume the BMW was east of Lake WA. E60 or X5?
The pic is funny as of course a MB isn’t from Bavaria. Looks like a clean debadged 203 anyway. There’s an amusing plate on a Murano in my workplace parking garage that I need to snap.

Yes to East, right between Kirkland and Redmond. E90 M5 I think (the v10 one).
Do it! I’m about ready to plunge into the custom plate club. Saw an s2000 with Iluvrpm and it really made me appreciate certain choices

You know, they could just really like 3D movies....

That’s exactly the car I imagine with such a plate. I’ve known two E60 owners - well, one was an E61 and a pretty nice overall, but the E60 guy almost strived to meet stereotypes.
I’ve thought of a personalized plate too, but I think everything I find witty is also disguised profanity, and wouldn’t pass judgement by the prudes who handle the approvals. Closest I have is a year of manufacture plate on my old car - with the upcoming registration fee disaster, that will offset a little pain from the modern car.

Here you go. Not the most clever thing, but funny and not douchey, which has to be uncommon in Bellevue:
